The former Schiphol detention center was transformed into a hotel. Now after a few years of exploitations, the hotel is expanding again. APTO added a green oasis at the arrival, making sure the guests feel calm and relaxed. The hotel is right next to Schiphol airport, so this overwhelming green place is a great contrast to the hard and logistical area.

APTO was asked to make a new plan for the former Generali office building. The building is another addition to the VIA family: with VIA Hotel and VIA Works next to it. The VIA42 lobby will be a space where not only tenants of the building come together, but also where neighbors are welcome to have a drink or work in the café. It makes the VIA42 lobby the local heart of the village, connecting it vertically and horizontally.
